I’m Garry. I’m an integrative counsellor working worldwide online and in person in Essex, UK.
My approach is warm, reflective, relational, and depth-oriented. I’m particularly interested in how our past experiences, emotional wounds, and relationship histories continue to shape how we experience ourselves and others in the present.
I see therapy as a collaborative process built on honesty, trust, care, and genuine human connection.
Rather than giving quick advice or rigid interpretations, I aim to help clients understand themselves more clearly, recognise patterns that may no longer serve them, and develop a more grounded and compassionate relationship with themselves.
Some clients come wanting support with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, self-worth, or relationship difficulties. Others also bring deeper existential or spiritual questions around identity, meaning, authenticity, or inner peace. Where relevant, there is space for those conversations too.

Working within the BACP Ethical Framework
Alongside my counselling work, I have a long-standing personal interest in non-dual spiritual and reflective traditions that explore inner experience and meaning. This is a separate aspect of my work and is not part of counselling sessions unless a client specifically wishes to explore their own spiritual framework.
